Is there such a thing as small PE mysis? The pieces are too big for my fish - especially the whole ones. The wrasse is really the only thing that can eat them.
I can tell the quality difference between these and the SF brand, but the size of those and the brine shrimp are better for my fish.
So, is there a smaller PE product (that I can't find) or am I stuck to either chopping this up or finding a different food?

Could always try running them through a blender.

how small are your fish? I have small chromis and anthias and they are able to eat it. Some pick it apart, some eat it and have part of it sticking out of their mouths... I want to get a pic of that its funny to see

I have the wrasse which can eat.
A perc clown that I'm guessing is an adult. He's a pig but can only eat the pieces - won't touch a whole one.
I have a 2.5" purple firefish in the same boat. Many of the pieces are bigger than his head.
And then there is the tiny high fin goby. The shrimp are bigger than him. He gets bits and likes cyclopeeze.

My sixline will actually push his mouth against a rock in order to get the bigger pieces in. I thought it was a fluke the first time he did it, but he does it all the time now

I believe there is a size difference with the PE mysis depending on what time of the year it is being collected, I have had packs of PE mysis where the mysis was HUGE, like almost an inch long, kinda crazy! And I have had other packs where the mysis is very small, under a quarter of an inch long.

Oh well, then the pack I got is on the huge side. Most of these things are more than an inch long uncurled.
Maybe I just need to look more carefully before I buy.

The batch im working on now has different sizes. I know because I'm always digging for the smaller ones for the mandarin.
