Think I may have crashed my Rotifer culture

I got a starter rotifer culture from Matt P at the swap, and all was going really good until a couple of days ago. I think I may have let the culture get too thick and now I can't see any of the little critters, although there are plenty of tigger pods in the culture. I split the remaining 'culture' in two and topped off with fresh water and food. Do you think there might be enough left to recover?

use the stuff on the bottom to start another culture, with any luck, there should be cyst/eggs on the bottom
