Does anyone here keep Orange Cup/Sun Coral (Tubastraea)? We went by OD last night and Ed has a few frags that look pretty nice. He said he feeds them Mysis.

I never feed mine late at night. I just blow the detritus off the rocks, wait for 30 minutes and all the polyps come out. I feed them brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. It's some effort to keep the other fish from eating their food, but I think it's worth it. Reef chili also makes the polyps come out.

I've found it good to put them in a specimen container of tank water a few nights a week and just pack them w/ food. That way you can place them back in the tank full and not spoil the tank water w/ excess food.

I feed mine when i feed to tank, that way the fish really dont even notice. I feed it mysis, brine and also plankton. thing is growing like crazy. they are not hard to take care of but are well worth the little effort you put into it.

this is a good idea... I may try that. I hate it when shrimp/fish steal food stuffs.
