From everything I've heard, 20 gallons is NOT an acceptable size for a yellow tang.

What you should be able to have a Yellow tang a hippo tang a scopas tang and two clown fish in a 20 gal tank no problem.......

i concidered a yellow for my 65, but i felt that it would house fairy wrasses alittle more better.
20 gallon is truely to small.

Yep, not the first time i have seen that with petco. those 8" one always look great, never tried getting one that big as i always figure they wouldn't make it.
I'm sketching out plans to stock my 40 and hell, from what I read there I could have a dozen tangs! a whole school, and then maybe some scopas to add a lil' flavah.

I have a scopas in a 58 gallon.. some people will call me stupid for even doing that.. but 20 gallons seems a lil bit on the really stupid side.
