Can anyone tell me if this is really what I think it is? I couldn't beleive my eyes when I saw it. Also, if it is, what do I have to do to keep it alive?

Just as an update, when I checked this morning, the baby clam (if it truly is) had migrated down on to the substrate a few inches away from the 'mother clam'.

Very cool Robyn! I would guess you would have to feed it the same fare as the smaller 1 to 2 inch clams... maybe something smaller.

It may be a cleaner clam, but last night it opened up alittle bit and the clam's mantle is very dark. Do clams have a dark mantle as well?
