It's a favia. Not sure what the name of it is or if it has a name.
Chris - under the moonlights it's more fluorescent green and the red eyes are brighter, but I can't get it to adjust for that. This coral is much more beautiful under actinic and moonlights that the halide lighting.

wow, that's pretty long. I wonder if my D80 could do that long...
anyone ever done full actinic moonlighting? i think it'd look really cool if nothing else...

Sure it can... You just need a steady tripod, use the timer, don't stomp around while the shutter is open, and turn off your pumps...

I shot with a d40x. The d80 is awesome! Tripod and a 2-second delay helped a lot.

I didn't turn off the pumps though last night. Just left everything running.

Mattb - this will give you a good idea of what it looked like on the back of the camera right after I shot. It definitely needed to have the wb adjusted really high (50000k). I adjusted the saturation, clarity and contrast a bit too.
