IV's

Anyone using some form of IV's for dosing two part? If so, did you break down and get a dosing pump or is it working out for you?

I was just there Today and sounds to me like the Pump is the way to go,guess I can use my Jr. with it to if I ever figure out how to use the Dang thing!!

i am (was)using a iv to drip kalk on my frag tank in the basement

I drip mine form a 17G tank, with 3/8 line works good for me, Cheap too.

a valve I think its Loc line??? Just snaps together

What I would get for anyone interested would be - uncomtaminated, empty bags, that held saline, and had no meds mixed into them. Just saltwater. They can't be recycled, and we throw them away after use.

I'm using two dosing pumps, one for each. I can adjust rates of each to bring things into balance when needed (like right now :) ). There's a learning curve to using them though, how to get the right amount of tension in the lines, the lines stretch a bit and split over time if not replaced etc.

ok, I brought home 7 of the 3000 bags today. Please contact me by phone (my # is listed in my profile) to arrange pickup. I'll work on getting some tubing, but that is a little harder to get due to medication use and biohazard reasons. I will only bring home unused ones. Right now I have none, but it can be purchased inexpensively at drugstores or medical supply if you don't want to wait.
