bottom of a two liter oceanspray juice containter cut with the ever present kitchen shears (shhh, don't tell the lady!), spiraled out some holes for some suction cups that came from old powerheads and poof! overflow box, quick and duuurty, cheap and uuuugly. like I used to like it back in the day.

yeah, this tank is quickly turning into a misfit ghetto tank. Right now it's only inhabitant is a huge velvet damsel, well WELL past the cute stage into the mean old ugly stage. the baserock started as cinderblock, which makes for great tall aquascaping and since there's no sump, there's pipes all over the place. I'm really starting to dig it's industrial ugliness. I've got a reef tank for the pretty, this one is for the badass. Future inhabitants will be a dwarf zebra lion and a snowflake eel. maybe then the damsel will have to move on, but something equally ugly will have to take his place if so.

Sounds like all you need to do is start pumping some NIN and dim the lights hahahaha http://www.tcmas.org/forums/imagehosting/8346044fcb09472.gif

hell yea, I'm trying to think of more things that I could do to add to the theme. any ideas? I can't really add anything metal, which makes my diy thoughts to industrialize a bit more difficult.
