I'm thinking about getting a different chiller. I want a chiller that will only turn on for a bit, bring the temp down quickly, and use electricity more efficiently than other products on the market. I guess what I'm saying is I want the most energy efficient chiller on the market. Anyone know much about chillers?

I have the 1/4 hp aqua logic cyclone drop in chiller on my 92. Works really well and doesnt run for long periods of time.
I am real happy with this chiller but if I had to do it over again I would not get the drop in type.

I had the aquamedic 1/2 hp and wasn't too impressed, I'm sure there are more effecient ones out there than that one.
I no longer use any chillers.

I've been happy with my inline JBJ Arctica. This is the only chiller I have used. They are expensive to run though.

Can't speak to a brand preference, but I like going with an in-line plumbed version vs. a drop-in. Just seems like a cleaner install, and the heat exchange may be more efficient.
