Today I caught my emerald crab IN THE ACT of eating a piece of a toadstool leather. I'd noticed the toadstool hadn't been opening much lately, and then today caught the crab actually takin' a tiny bit off of him. So, should I frag him off and move him to another tank? Will this crab cause troubles in my mushrooms or other corals? Is it more possible that it's been nibbled on by someone else and the crab is cleanin' up? gah, can't we all just get along? oh and I snapped a pic, I'll post it when I'm done with my homework.

I guess maybe he'll make a tasty snack when I finally get around to gettin' something that'll eat him in the FOWLR... here's that pic of him caught green-clawed. Also, I just saw my velvet damsel devour a strand of chaeto like it was spaghetti. that was cool, guess I don't have to worry about strays from the 'fuge.

You can give him to me, I have some bubble algae he can snack on.

the velvet is doin' great. he's a bit messy- likes to kick up the sand every now and again. he's a good eater, pickin' at the rocks and I guess munchin' on chaeto that makes its way into the display... that was interesting to watch. We've named him 'bluto' after popeye's nemisis, the big burly bearded bad boy who's really a wimp. anyway, yeah, he's doing great.

Yeah- I had a very naughtly emerald crab too.... I'd probably move him out of the tank.
