I set the 5 gallon hex up a couple months ago and got the horses in yesterday. I have 9 of them and the one green one looks pregnant. They should keep me occupied while I'm slowly piecing together my 120 gallon tank.

Wow, I didn't know you could keep them in such a small tank. I may have to think about that some day.
How are you handling feeding them?

They actually do better in a small tank because of the ratio of newly hatched brine shrimp to seahorses. It's recommended to do about a pair per gallon to start with. I have been feeding once in the morning and once in the evening. I have two hatcheries going that I stagger the days I put in decapsulated eggs so there will always be a fresh supply of babys. The brine shrimp lose their nutritional value as they grow, so they're only good for a few days.
