key is to keep it suspended, so put a couple of strategically placed maxijets back there

Ah sounds like some one didn't cook their rocks first:doh:. They are shedding and will continue to do so for quite some time. Siphon it out as much as you can and as often as you can. Be prepared you will be doing this for a while until they stop shedding. Then it will be jst normal siphoning when you do water changes. What I liked to do it take a really fine micron bag and attach it to the end of a hose in the sump and start a siphon from the tank. That way all the detritus would get caught in the bag and the water gos back into the sump.

Play with the flow to see if you can get the piles in a place you can easily siphon them out, at least that way it is easy to remove them.

No think back to the sandbed days, all of that detritus was still there you just didn't see it!

Adjust the flow so D goes over the overflow teeth or settles in a place easy to siphon once a week.

I just made sure on aquascaping that you can still reach all areas so it can be siphoned out wherever it settles.

Dan is on the right idea. Change your flow patterns and the detritus will pile up somewhere else. Keep changing it until the pile is in a more convienent area. Also purposely having some flow off the back side of the tank, aimed downward will blow it forward somewhere.
Keep sucking:agree:
