Hahaha..thanks! That's awhile from now, I'm sure there will be some great shots posted before then.
It was way too hard to pass up on that duncan...

I agree, great looking duncan. Keep feeding it routinely and you will have a few heads in no time.

I've target fed it mysis a few times, but mostly just been letting it do it's own thing to get acclimated to the light. Is 1-2 times/week appropriate or can they be fed more often?

The growth on the birdsnest is impressive. Are you running a reactor or using 2part?

2 part only.
I like it, very cool looking Duncan also.

Great pictures besides the nice corals!!
Now the usual question:
What camera?
And I guess Photoshop?

Nikon d40x. Nikkor 105 VR lens.
I shoot in RAW because it's easier to adjust white balance in photoshop. So that answers your third question - Photoshop CS3.

Nice pictures. Can you post your photo equipment and settings if you have them?
Also, if you ever frag the birdsnest (drooool), I would be very interested.
Thanks
Scott

Thanks Scott.
photo equip was listed. if you have more questions on that let me know.
f/36, 1/13 s, ISO 800, 105 mm for the pink bird shot
Shooting in RAW - I need to adjust the temperature to about 10k. I also unsharp mask and sometimes reduce noise using Imagenomic (plug in for PS CS3).
I'll let you know when I frag it. The colors on it really pop with the new t5 set up I got - which has an ATI Pro Color bulb in the mix.

Thanks! I definately need to work on my photo skills (these pics are motivating!). Not used to all the bells on the digital SLR + extreme novice in photoshop. Far cry from the B&W basics.

Great shots!
Very nice! Is the Duncan coral difficult to keep? Does anyone else have them? This is the first I've seen of it.
Great pics. Love the duncan.

Excellent shots all around, though the duncans do look a little over PS'd.

I think 1-2 times a week is perfect. You could probably do more but I don't think it is necessary. I've been feeding mine mysis also.

The birdsnest, new growth definately looks like it mostly gets current from one direction.

Most of the flow that it receives is from the right side moving to the left. Pumps cycle on 8 hr increments (right 8hrs, left 8hrs, both 8hrs).
