What can I do to stop this or prevent it?
I have a 30 gallon cube with T5 lighting, fish and corals. I dose two part daily and kalk in my topp off water.
Thanks

To me this is a good thing. Good coraline algae growth are good indicators that phosphates are low and ALK/CA levels are good.
Just stir it up a bit, preferably during a water change while siphoning out the gunk in the sandbed........

And this is bad how? Most of us strive to have good coraline growth, it is a sign of a healthy tank.

Well then I guess I won't complain. :lol_hitting:
Never did this on my other tank, but wasn't dosing two part either.

Well I will try and get a good picture and post it. It is showing pink, that is for sure. It will just be a matter of time before it shows purple too.
