Those mojano anemones can be a real pest best to take care of the problem now and not let them get out of control.

I'm talking about the very last picture to the right of the blue hippo tang pic in reply post #3.
While some can actually be pretty attractive with some nice green etc. but they are more of a challenge to kill than aptasia and if gone unchecked they get totally out of control.
Most times they come in on LR. If you actually paid for them, you seriously need to ask for your money back ( mostly out of principle ). That would be like paying for aptasia.....

Then you will have to buy a butterfly fish.

Even then, if you take the butterfly out of the tank, the majano will be back. They keep in check but the will always be some majano fragments left behind to repopulate.
If isolated to one rock, I'd just totally dry the rock out. Then let the rock reseed.

that is so sheisty, hopefully it wasn't a club member. The person should be ashamed of themselves. Get your money back!

I've used to have a huge problem with them. The best remedy I've found it to use Joe's Juice with the angular (sp) needles. The mojano's love it and then they go "bye bye" I greatly reduced the population. Now I only have a few left in the tank that I need to take out.

I wish I only had a couple... man i have a whole rock covered with em.
Thanks for the offer Robyn, but i do have plenty of them.
I don't think that getting my money back will really be an option.. man this time around has had it lows, first flatworms now this.....
Thanks for the pointer on the joes juice. I think first i will just start by taking as many out of the tank as possible then will go from there.

Yeah, I had a couple rocks full of them. I gave each one a tiny bit of joes and 90% where gone in the first round. Good stuff!

If it's currently isolated to just one rock, easiest is to just take the rock out and dry it. Then put it back in to reseed at a later date.

I am glad the aiptasia did not some on those two corals in the first pics. i have a few in my 125. Not sure why someone would pass them off as shrooms but that is pretty low. Everyone runs into a butthead in this hobby sooner or later.

Smeese, thanks for the two frags! They are doing great! I also got a few of little baby strombus snails with that cheto batch too, that really helped with my very small population of em.

I hope you mean that you are taking the rock out and not picking them out by hand. Picking them out by hand is a very bad idea. Take the whole rock out.

I enjoy watching my peppermint tear them to pieces and then eat them. mmmm...aiptasia

If they are only on one rock I would remove the rock and let it dry out for a while....you can always add the "dead" rock at a later date and it will become live again. Maybe this will help with most of them.
If you remove them by hand be careful as this could cause spreading.

yeah, what i have decided to do is remove one of the rocks and then try and attempt to get some of the others with the joes juice. I will be getting the joes juice next time i need to order some dry goods.
I do have one question with the joes juice though... I know it says that it is safe for corals but if i use this next to some mushrooms will it take them out too??

never had a problem with Joe's juice taking out any corals no matter how close.
