Hey Everybody!

i've had this acro now for over a year. i saved it last winter from RTN through some quick fragging, and it's been doing well ever since. the growth hasn't been great, but my lighting isn't super strong.
does anyone have an idea of what kind of acro it is?

the monti is a piece i mail ordered from vivid aquariums last spring. it was labeled as a "mappa" monti, but the colors shifted now to the point where i think it's actually a purple-rim monti confusa. the green is absolutely great under halide lighting.

acro looks like a blue tort or a roscoe's/ tenuis. I lean more towards the second because it has shaggy polyps.

My guess would be a tortuosa of some kind.

Alot of things get labeled a confusa. Who really knows.

For both of them, as long as you like it and it grows is all that really matters.

Could the first one possible be a chips Acro?

WOW, those are nice!!!! I agree with David, while its nice to 'know' a species, if you like them how cares, and those are both nice pieces.

The acro has some interesting radial polyps, I'll poopoo anything that everyone else proposed. I'm outta town and don't normally carry the Veron books around when I travel, I'm back in town Friday.

That Monti is unique, and unfortunately, Montis are SUPER hard to ID. Has both tuberculosa and pappillae...

Nice pieces!
