Thought I would share something exciting that happened today in my 20L. I started this whole trek into saltwater, by wanting a clown hosting in a BTA. After tons of reading and learning, I fiquired out it would not be as simple as I had hoped. After starting out with fake corals and a hob filter, it has been a long road to live rock and a powerhead. If I had just bumped into TCMAS earlier, I woudn't have fake corals, an extra hob filter, and a extra hood collecting dust.

Today I go to feed my false clown and I noticed him finally hosting in my RBTA!

I'm sure this isn't that large of deal to some of the experienced pros out there, but after my clown hosting behind the lip of the hob filter for months, I didn't think he was ever going to come out!

Nice, I know what you mean. When I first started my clown hosted... the heater and not the BTA, that was irritating

Congrats Jeff! Getting your clowns to host can be a very difficult thing. I just lost a bunch of fish in some wierd fungus outbreak in my temporary systems. Both my clowns died, and I am not looking forward to finding another maited pair, and then getting them to host.... In the mean time my poor BTA looks soooo lonely :(
