I've got a 20 H with a 5" sand bed. Are there any sand sifting jaw fish that won't:

1)starve
or
2)Unleash the fury lurking within my DSB

-A side note, I don't want to get into DSB vs BB vs Shallow Sand bed, just find out what I can put in there while keeping everyone in the tank alive.

My yellow head has been doing fine in mine. Hasn't stopped burrowing though.

But he doesn't starve, and doesn't release toxins out of your dsb? (i can't remember what's in there, just that it's bad)

Except for leather corals not growing for **** in my system, I have had zero issues with anything. I feed it mysis, and gut loaded brine shrimp.

I've had him for a couple of months, and he's active, and fat.

Hydrogen Sulfide -- Rotten egg smell.

the jawfish will be fine in your tank. just make sure to have lots of rubble for it to use to build it's burrow. It's not big enough to cause a big stirr in your sandbed to stir up the toxins in it.
