This thing came in and it was gold in color and was suppossed to be silver......It was suppossed to have 2 fans and had none. Also this thing is missing the splashguard and they said they will not send me one. Alswo the moonlights were suppossed to be 6 led's and were suppossed to have a dimmer switch. It came with some cheesy blue ropelight with a on/off switch. The question is......is it worth recieving negative feedback to give it to them? I was told I could get a refund back for the light but not shipping and I would have to pay to ship it back. This is a bunch of crap. Steve

if ya paid by PP file a claim, you'll have to ship it back at your cost, but you'll get your money back

report the seller to ebay, leave no feedback. I'm pretty sure you can notify ebay without letting them know that you did.

what a chump,no fans are you serious??? but why were you buying crappy catalina pc's when you can get coralife or better for the same price? not to put salt on a wound but 139.99 seemed awefully steep.

I have read many of bad things about catalina on RC. If I would have known your were looking I would have warned you.

Leave him a neutral feedback and contact ebay and tell them about the :censor: :censor:

Definately file a claim. Include the cost of shipping back to them in the claim since they clearly tried to deceive you.

Also, what you can do...check the box and see if their UPS account number is on the shipping label. Use that to return at their cost :)

If they have a UPS account then their accoutn number is also part of the tracking number !!

I have shipped stuff back that way to avoid any cost before.

Here is what you do:

1. Send it back and eat the shipping costs.
2. Wait until day 59, 23 hours and 59 minutes from the close of the auction and leave negative feedback. If you time it right, he/she will get the negative feedback with no time to leave you negative feedback in return.

I am not 100% sure about the 60 days winodw, it could be 90 days.

Good luck.

lol that's great . feedback may be automated though. I know my positive feedback is automated to leave positive feedback for people the moment they leave it for me, not sure if that can be done with negative.

This is just a lesson not to order from anyone that has 14 negative or neutral feed backs in the last month. If anyone has that many i would guess they have 2-3 times that many customers that are also unhappy and scared to leave negative feedback. They also have a bunch of mutually withdrawn feedback. Id guess 10% of their customers are unhappy with their purchase.

ebay really needs to add a category in the feedback breakdown for mutually withdrawn so it is easier to see and so you know if the person you are buying from is willing to use negative feedback into bully their customers into not posting neg feedback or later retracting it.

Well if you can ship it back at their cost and you've got your $ back be sure to throw a brick or two in with it to up the weight. ;)

I left neg feedback once for a seller and of course he did the same to me. At the very least you can put a side comment next to his neg feedback with you side of things.

BTW it doesn't look like he gives retaliatory feedback for neutrals , only negative.

I always interpret neutrals as negatives, the customer clearly was not happy with something and felt the need to express it to others.

look at his other listings, very questionable no-name crapola. JEBO, catalina, that spells quality. how about a 3x400w and 4 VHO retrofit, only 799?
No specs on ballasts or bulbs, I'm sending him my money as we speak:laugh:

Imagine that! This Pudwack is no longer in buisness......or probably started over. Now I can't snipe him out after 90 days. Maybe my ebay complaint did some good ;)
