I'm looking for some plugs to mount frags on, not the discs though. I've got frags or cash or whatever. i've used up way to much rock mounting frags!

Just FYI:
Having used them, I don't recommend the boston farm plugs. They really crumble too easily.
Better to get the clay type or plastic.

I will drop some off for you if you so desire. Let me know how many, and we can work something out.

agreed! Since the group order, they are now the only ones I use... sooo much better than those crappy BAF ones.

Never tried drilling into them, I have always use super glue to mount the frag on the plug.

I personally like the ones that are the disc size and not the plug size. The disc sized ones have a much nicer surface and room for the coral to put down a decent base. Both sizes fit nicely into the frag stations also sold by the filter guys:bow:

yeah the BAF ones are nice until you try to cram them in to that perfect spot and the stupid plug crumbles
I will have to grab some of the ceramic ones at the next meeting from someone to try some out.

I just always like to drill a bit when mounting acro's, It seems to make the coral happier having a rigid connection to rock to start out with( I glue as well)
So, anyone want to sell me 20 of the filter guys ones? I just checked it out and its 10 bucks shipping for a $5 set of plugs, which isnt bad, but it is if I can just butter one of you guys up to sell me some:smile:

Just give me a frag (or 2) of something when I get a tank set back up.
