As some of you know, I work a few hours a week at har-mar pet. Whenever I work I always check the mandarins to see if they'll take mysis. Well, this one did, so I picked him up. It's always worth a shot to ask them to feed 'um. I have turn off the pumps and try to keep the cleaner shrimp at bay, so it's a little shaky and grainy, but you can see him clearly nabbing some pretty big pieces of frozen mysis. This guy will sit and do this for longer than I care to hold a camera up for. Pretty fun to watch him eat; he really pulls the food in with surprising force.

That's pretty sweet! So the whole time I was at your place today I kept thinking , Man that guy looks familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it... then I read this post and realize, duh, I've talked to you like 3-4 times up at har-mar pet. lol... so I'm a little slow. oh well! Thanks for hooking me up!

Is that PE Mysis? I need to make sure I have whatever it is he eats.

it's the mysis we sell at har-mar. I usually slice it when it's frozen so it's not full pieces. I do that into a little pill jar, then take a syringe and push it in front of him with the pumps off. I'll try to figure out what kinda mysis it is in a minute. I threw the package away, so all I have is the cubes in the plastic and foil.

is what I'm feeding. some little pieces, some bigger. I slice a cube into a 7 day pill cup and feed 2-3x a day.
