Need a quick measurement please

I am building a canopy and do not have my T5's yet. I just ordered them yesterday.

Can someone give me a measurement for the total distance of a 48'' T5 with end caps.

I'm 99% sure they are 46.5" bulbs and 48" total including endcaps.
I use them over my 4' tank and my canopy is 48.5" on the inside I think.

This link shows a 54w 48" bulb that is 45.8" long...

I measured 47 1/16"
and on another 48"

It depends which direction you choose to put the endcaps in the mounts.
With just a quick look, I belive 47" is the smallest you could go using the standard mounts.
