where can i get a userfriendly tool that works well for picking things out of my 50g?

get a pair of long handled tweezers, or foreceps from your local hobby store :)

I have a set of bamboo forceps i got from petco and i love them :D. for 2-3 dollars each...hard to beat them. If you getting metal ones, make sure you clean them real good..otherwise they'll start to rust
