In the last couple of National Geographic issues there have been quite a few articles on the ocean. The most recent article about the Mediteranian Blue Tuna really was striking to me. It really sheads light on how the world fish market is supplied and how over time we are going to see the major species almost fished to extinction;

The second article was on how the damage of supplying live reef fish to the asian food market is taking it toll on reefs. I was surprized that there was no metion that this market is also what we are using as our supply for our hobby. The third article was on new zealand and the "safe" zones they have created to protect the ocean. Great issue, I would recomend you get a subscription.
