Sand Request

Does anyone have 50 or 100 lbs of Southdown or equivalent sand in their garages, sheds, storage rooms, or basements that they would be interested in selling? If not, I will start working with my local hardware store and see what I can arrange through them...maybe they can work a deal for me...

You are only talking about 2-3 bags of Aragonite sand. I would just order it or buy it from the LFS.

If you are on the south side of town, SWE usually has it in stock (I think). If you are on the north side of town, I saw several bags at Discovery Aquatics last night so you could pick some up from Jake.

If you aren't in a hurry, you could have DFS ship it to you.

Otherwise, if you are set on Southdown, you could PM Turf. I know he had a few bags, but he is on the north side of the world (like me).

I do echo what Matt said...if you are only looking for 50-100lbs, I would reccomend getting it from the closest LFS
