Jeremey, my main concern is the adult size ( unless we are talking 8'+, 300g+ tank ).
I'm a very big fan of rabbitfish but only cared to add 1 per tank for this reason.

thanks david. mine right now i have had for over a year and it is only 3-4" i was thinking of getting a nother small one but as you sayed the care for the fish is first. if i had a tank that big would they fight?

If the one in the tank has already claimed the whole tank as territory, you're probably going to have some bullying, the first one may even kill the new one.

the 187 is not set up yet i was thinking of putting both of them together in at the same time. the one i have now really is a good tank mate. s/he is really not a bully.

They tend to pick on their own kind, won't be a bully to anyone else, then if you put another into the tank they can get pretty aggressive. Just a word of caution, I had a mild mannered scribbled rabbit absolutely murder a newly added scribbled rabbit in a customer aquarium. If added in pairs they can be model citizens and even pair up.
