Weird fish thing found in Russia

I can't tell if it fake or what, but it looks like one of those weird fish that had helmets that I have seen fossils of.

yep. oddly enough, related to brine shrimp. one of the oldest animals around.

they're freshwater, so they won't go in your reef tank. you can buy eggs and hatch them on your own rather easily, actually.

You'll probably have to search more for the large ones. FWIW, I've heard they're great scavengers for freshwater tanks.
