Went to do a feeding Video and found my Male Crosshatch gasping and his eyes are sunk in really bad and strangly he seems amaciated although he just ate daily. I had him for a year now next month. This one is just too expensive to replace :bawling: On the bright side the rest of the fish seem fine including the crosshatch female so it seems to have been a personal problem. If he makes it through this I would be surprised. :censor:

Strangely the DME is hounding over him like he is claiming his body once he dies for his next meal. My day is ofically ruined:bawling:

Wow! I wonder what is wrong? Can you get it into a hospital tank and treat him? Maybe he has an internal parasite...

"gasping and his eyes are sunk in really bad "
Sounds like a post coitus reaction to me.
Let's hope he makes it.

Holys#$%. I felt bad when my freshwater 6 yr old oscar died, with nothing I could do....but I didn't have that $$$ sting. Ouch, we'll just hope he pulls through.

you should get a golden puffer, golden puffers rocks, they got a REAL cherry one right now at something fishy.

I was eyeing that. How much was it again? I like them. Any luck with them being with anenomes or lps? I seen one prune Boker420's acros once. Quite scary.

I wouldn't trust a puffer with them.
