Fire Fish/Dartfish ?

I purchased a dartfish a couple of days ago who came from a tank with many. in my tank the dartfish hides until feeding then goes back under the rocks. will the fish get more comfortable and stay out? are dartfish schooling fish? thanks for the feedback

Yes, once he becomes more comfortable he will come out, they will school, and are pretty cool when they do, but if you try and keep a school, I have had the best luck with 5+ of them, otherwise they seem to fight a bit.
