neon pink shroom

i have this shroom that is white in the day and neon pink with the moon lights


any idea what type of shroom is it ?

typically shrooms will color up more when they becomes adult and get darker in color

I would agree with Li. That looks like a red shroom that either has not built up a proper compliment of zooxanthellae, or has bleached and lost them. The reason it would look pink with the moonlights on is that it still probably has some of the fluorescing protective pigments on its outer skin that are reflecting the blue light. Once the zooxanthellae come in, it should darken up; they shouldn't normally be translucent like that.

Likely it gets heavily shaded when the others expand. At night when the actinics come on the others shrink enough to expose it. Once it gets large enough to hold it's own it should start to color up.

I agree with under lit, I have a young red mushroom that looks just like that one in my system right now.
