So I have been filling my tank for 3 days now, I probably have 55 or so gallons in the display and none in the sump. This is taking a ridiculous amount of time!I shouldv'e got a bigger rodi!

So I got the display totally filled and started overflowing to the sump.....and I have a leaking bulkhead....friggin sweet. Hopefully silicone does the trick cause I didn't want to tighten it anymore and risk the glass or bulkhead cracking and having 75 gallons on the floor.

Bulkheads can be tricky if there is any uneven pressure on any of the side because of the pvc piping it's going to leak. So be sure the pvc is supported to not put any uneven pressure on any of the bulkhead. I fought that battle many many times. In that situation, it won't matter how tight it is.

One of those holes had a little chip in it. Make sure the rubber gasket is covering it. If not, silicone under the rubber gasket between it and the glass should do it.

So the tank is completely full and tuned to my liking. Time to wait for cycle! As of now this is my livestock list

Long Fin Fairy Wrasse
(Hippo) Blue Tang, still a maybe I need a tiny one and a definite plan for upgrade
Copperband Butterfly, same as above
Flame Angel
Spotted Mandarin, if I find a mysis eater
Pair of Clowns, possibly naked.
Pair of Yellow Watchmen Gobies.
Maybe a couple Blue chromis

i would think a copperband would be fine in your 75. a friend of mine had one in a 90 gallon and it did great. Biggest thing with them is getting them to eat. I saw tiny hippos like silver dollar size somewhere not too long ago.

you are planning this to be a reef right?

Also since you are cycling all dry rock from what i recall you may want to look at the prodibio supplements from SWE and i think Discovery aquatics carries it as well. I used it to cycle some rock to add to my tank and man did that stuff work great.

It will definitely be a reef tank and I bought some kind of cycle stuff today at Petco, along with some carbon and a filter sock to help clear the yellowniss from the rock.

Does this stuff have to have a bioload? If so what are your plans?
