I used the prodibio stuff from SWE. was about 5 bucks i think for 2 doses of it. I had the dry rock in the bin for about a week and only ever saw ammonia but no sign of bacteria to break it down. Added the prodibio and within a day had ammonia, nitrite, nitrate. let it go for a while did a wter change and added round 2 and within a few days it was 0-0-0 across the board. there was no bioload in my container just a rubbermaid with water and rock with a couple pumps for flow.

Looks great so far. Are you running a controller on this tank?

So I have some light brown algae spots on the sand now, not sure what this means but i'll take it. Im having trouble getting good test results because the color charts are so much alike. Do any of the LFS test water for a small fee?

Jake will usually test for you, if the store isn't packed with customers.

Just a quick update. Fish consist of a YWG, McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Blue Flasher Wrasse, Hippo Tang, and a Pair of True SI Percs. Coral/Inverts Skunk Cleaner shrimp, an RBTA, lots of SPS, 6-8 different zoas/palys, a Welso brain about 6" or so, not a whole lot of LPS.....yet. Also added an RKL controller.I swapped out my actinics for ATI Blue+ bulbs.

More pics coming......
