If you have any other questions or want to volunteer or make donations, please contact either Me (Eric) or Becky. Thanks, and we will have a contest like last year for the flyer. That will start once we get a location nailed down. I will post that seperately when the time comes. Thanks.

I would like to see the place nailed down by the end of the month. Anyone that can help find a venue that can handle up t0 200 people and not matter if the floors get wet, please let the committee know.

I leave for Steamboat Springs that day. Guess I am missing this one too. I will have to cross my fingers for fall.

we will be there with bells on... should have a nice setup by then too hopefully. Has anyone considered contacting their local VFW to see how much it is to rent a banquet room? Also, try talking to some of the schools in the area, see if we can trade a presentation or something in exchange for the use of their lunchroom that day.

Hey, hey, hey....we used to be called the River's South Reefkeepers.

Doesn't that mean that the center of the city is the Minnesota River?

Just kidding - I'll come no matter where it is. The CAD users group I belong to does meetings at the Hennepin County Library meeting rooms. There is one at Southdale and another at Ridgedale. Real nice places to meet, huge meeting rooms, but the floor is carpet so they might frown on spilling water. The freshwater club meets at a church gym for their auctions. Not sure if they pay for that or not. It's the Bloomington Church of the Redemption on Old Shakopee Rd.

I will be looking at a 3000sqft warehouse tomorrow morning that is available for the swap. it is located just off 494 in Woodbury.

For those wanting to rent a table with power (i.e retailers etc) fee's are the following.
Non sponsor $40 per table $10 off if you bring your own.
Sponsor $20 per table $10 off If you bring your own table.

Will there be a charge for a table with no power? Seems like charging members for space might be moving away from the "group of friends" feeling.

The charge is for vendor spots. Members will not be charged for table usage. It is free to all members!

Please let me know if you are still looking for a location. I may be able to pull some strings at work i have some connections in the events planning and the properties team. We have a lot of room in the corporate office building, a training center in Maplewood and a few other empty building scattered across the cities. I just need to see who is still left after next thursday........
