So how do you like the LED's? I think they look good on there.
Looks nice. How are those Onyx doing?
LEDs are great! They seem to be putting out lots of light! All my nems retreated. Time will tell but so far I like it!
the onyx are in QT, they had some ick and are recovering. I intro the Picasso into QT with them but he made the breakout 10 times worst. He died of ick and I nearly lost the two onyx. They have nicely recovered now and will go into the display end of the month.
Sorry to hear that. Why are all these fish coming down with ich? Are your tank parameters up to par? Are they stressed? It's always good to keep one fish per QT as well. Especially if the current residents of that QT have ich. I wouldn't introduce another fish to that same tank.
It was tank parameters that gave them ick in the first place. I took the risk of introducing the picasso to the onyx during QT so they will accept him easier. It's alot harder to have established fish accept new fish but while in QT where they are most vulnerable, they will cling onto one another which should help them bond and tolerate each others easier. Plus it is in QT so i can treat for anything and keeping clowns together is ALOT better as they are social fish and it helps them get through QT better. It did go as planned since they did accept each others but i made another mistake in the process. I found out that seachem's stress guard and seachem's cupramine weren't compatable and that was what killed my picasso.
btw, the onyx are fully recovered and have been ick free for a few weeks now. it's happily back in it's BTA again.
