Hey everyone. (Kevin, if you're reading this, bet you didn't think i'd actually do it ;) )

this marks my second "build" thread on here (the first being my 14g biocube setup/ LED mod)

I traded Kcooley and Sandro (i'm not sure who it actually belonged to) my white sleeper goby (i miss him dearly) for this 2 gallon pico tank.

Not really sure what i'm going to do with it yet, so if anyone has any suggestions, i'm definately open to them. I was thinking probably just a softie tank of some sort. LEDs are an option but for now I think i'm going to focus on getting it up and running.

Most people upgrade tanks, i'm working my way down....

I got that covered, but seriously even your plain jane zoas/pallys pop under leds... Tony leds are a necesity, and I won't set up anyother tanks without them in some fashion... I'm considering buying 3 or 4 more fluvals and doing a ric/yuma tank, a nps tank, a softy tank.... And possibly an sps tank.... I will have updated pics here in the next day or 2 for ya

Nice, I think that a couple of mushrooms and maybe a frogspawn if the lighting is strong enough I really want one of these in my room next to my bed. I would be up all night:biggrin:
    Keep up the posting!

Drill them and run them into a big sump with a powerful skimmer!

For you piconators, how often do you do water changes and top off?

haha, that's where my biocube sits right now (about 3 feet from my bed) and this one will most likely go somewhere in my room as well... I'm thinking about making a custom shelf for it because as it turns out, there's nowhere to put it. lol.

Clint- I'll most likely do LEDs this winter, just a matter of figuring out a nice mod for the existing light or maybe just making a small sunpod-like fixture that sits on the top.
I was thinking maybe a royal blue, UV, and a couple whites maybe?

The royal blues added a lot of color pop in my cube, but since i'm just using them to supplement my PC lighting, it might end up being a little different in the pico... (another option i might consider would be just getting some low power royal blue moonlight type LEDs and see what the effect is in combination with the stock lighting

my brother seems to only change his water in his 3g pico once a week at the most (i feel like he does it even less than that) and barely tops up at all because he made an acrylic top that keeps the evap. down...

When I had my 2.5, I changed water twice a week and I had an auto top off on it :)

Lol, nah... his would beat mine. I'd buy a fluval, but that's almost as much as I paid for my biocube.

looks clean. I would hope you got lookdowns, a school of them. but a tang would be nice. Better order the king size clean up crew for that thing.
