Would you like to have access to our free monthly giveaways?

In the last few months we have given away a Reef Keeper Lite system, Refrectometers, A Bubble Magus Mini 70 Reactor, 1 full set of the 6 ounce bottles of the Reef Nutrition product line, Pink Nikon Coolpix S01, A pair of Black Ice Clowns, $1,000.00 in GFC's, a computer!!!- well that's just the past couple months.

If you are a member - you have access to these free giveaways.

You know what else you get? Full access to TCMAS classifieds!
Livestock, tanks, full set up's, controller's skimmers...you name it - are all offered for sale regularly in our classified's section and more often than not - our members offer them here to members at a discount versus the price they list them on Craigslist or anywhere else!!!!

Also - did you know TCMAS offer's workshops free to our members???
That's right! We recently did an aqua-scaping workshop where members showed ya how to do it and members themselves were able to go home with aqua-scaped master pieces free of charge - just for being a member!

    Some upcoming workshops are:
LED build (yes, members will go home with LED fixtures they built)!
Food making workshop - we all show up - kick in a small amount to cover the bulk food and everyone goes home with the most awesome home made fish food!
Photography workshop - show up with your camera and other members will show you how to go about getting the best pics of your tank!!!

In order to become a member - you just need to attend a house meeting once a year (make sure you sign in on the sign in sheet) and that's it!

Too busy or too far away to attend a meeting? That's ok - TCMAS came up with a supporter option for you!

It's just $30.00/year or $50.00/ 2 years - to use this option click http://www.tcmas.org/forums/account/upgrades . That will bring you to an option to select your supporter option and submit your payment via Paypal. Please note, payments are not refundable in the event you do not wish to use the full period you purchase. E.g., you cannot buy a supporter subscription, attend a house meeting 6 months later, and then receive a refund of 1/2 the membership.

ALSO NOTE - the supporter option will give you immediate access to view the classifieds however - you still need to have at least 50 post's before you can list in the classifieds

So really what are you waiting for???? Join TCMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-click on settings from the upper right corner of the page - then on the left lower side - select paid subscriptions. That will bring you to an option to select your supporter option and submit your donation via Paypal.

Thanks for the response. I had already read that, and I dont seem to have that tab available. In the upper right hand corner I have three dots ... and a search icon. Neither of which lead me to paid supscriptions.

Are you using a phone app like tapatalk or are you using a full sized browser ? Best to use a full sized browser and maximize the window. You also need to be signed in as you.

    Upper right corner, settings

Next page on left hand side under my settings choose paid subscriptions:

Drop down choose 1 year or 2 year option:

I am posting this for discussion purposes only not to start a argument so please dont take it as criticism but as a suggestion. I make a large part of my living going door to door soliciting (sorry) that said it still seems awkward to me to go to someones private residence who I dont know and who doesnt know me and sit in on a meeting that as a newbie into the hobby I dont know much about. I think having a meeting maybe even a shorter than average meeting in a local public place (fish store would be perfect) that everyone is familiar with would be a good way to add membership. I think alot of people who live further out would travel to the cities to do the meeting and go to the store at the same time.

Coming from the freshwater group I used to feel the same but I prefer this method... I really enjoy seeing other people's tanks, how they're setup and asking questions about why they chose that method vs other options, as well as talking to others about misc things. But then I may be the oddball, most people I know think we're nuts with all the fish tanks in our house but people in the hobby really seem to enjoy them and I like sharing my hobby with others.
