So it's been awhile since I'm updated what going on in my tank. So here we go. Since last year my tank has been up and down from its best (still can't figured out what's going on) to one point I just want to give up and take down my tank. Works and growing family are also parts of my tank getting neglected. Long story short....;)....life is back to normal and thanks to my "better half" keep encourage me to keep up with my tank. After moved my corals to my 2 best buddy tanks ( Big Thanks to Ben aka bboy1234 and Eric aka Saltrooky ) and 1000g+ water change (continuously in 3 mos) my tank back to normal. I took a lot of rocks out and reaquascaping so I could have more water flows go through underneath all my rocks work. Another big change in my tank besides the water changes was I've switched from 6 AI Sol Blue LEDs to 3x250W Radium MH. My SPSs response much better than before under new light:biggrin:.
Last few months, I start taking back all my corals and stocking some new one also. All are doing awesome. Especially, my SPSs color up nicely with lots of PE. I can't be happier:biggthumpup:.
I'll try to keep my "Eyes Candy" updated. And I'm also want to borrow this thread as an IDs thread. I'll post all my corals's pictures as accurate to real life as possible for easy to identity. Enjoys....

Ok I saw the blue tip echinata.... It seriously looks fake it's so blue. I honestly am not much of an SPS fan but this is amazing, you truly need to see it to believe it.

    Need a FTS brian!
By the way. It's great that you stuck too it. I hope my better half would talk me out of shutting it down if I was in your shoes. Sounds like a good catch.

Thanks Charlie. Yes, I'm a very lucky guy. My wife never complaint about what I do or buy for my tank. Actually, she's enjoying it ;)

Stopped by today to pickup some corals from Brian. That Horrida is an absolutely sweet coral. Outstanding color and polyp extension. Incredible chalice collection as well. Great setup Brian!

Yeah I would have gone with T5 from the start but there arent any 20" ati bulbs so the fixture would be bigger than my tank.. I may eventually just go for it though. As long as my razor is still slightly coloring stuff up Im happy!

A 24" ATI Powermodule is actually 23.1" long, minus another 1.25-1.5" for the fixture housing and the bulbs ends and I think it would be exactly 20".

    Just saying :agree:

Corals look great Brian!! Though my ORA Hawkins is a shade more green.. I'll chalk it up in the T5 vs MH category I guess!

This is why I came back to the hobby. I miss all my SPS I lost. Spectacular looking coral man. I gotta come out and see this tank. I love the Shortcake. I agree with the old school lighting. I tried LED's and went back to my trusty T5 ATI setup.
