    Cheezybuda is hosting a Meeting!

    Location: South Minneapolis
    Date: Saturday February 10
    Time: 3pm-7pm

Do you want a pm for address or do you want to post it here?
    PM for address

Is there a limit to attendee's?
    35

    Is your meeting handicap accessible?
Not really, but we do have 2 tanks on the main floor if you can get up 5 stairs.

Will you be providing any refreshments?
We will be resurrecting the world famous potato bar with lots of bacon, cheeses, and other accompaniments. Vegetarian/vegan options available as well. Let me know if you have any particular food allergies or other dietary restrictions. Later in the evening, we plan on baking up some cookies in the new pizza oven. We will have a variety of beers (even a couple miller lites for Angie ), wine, liquors, and soft drinks.

Are there any specific parking guidelines?
Street parking either on the parkway or on 53rd

Do you have any pets? (this is for members with allergies)
giant, crazy dog that won't be around and a half blind cat that will be sleeping on the couch.

    Are children allowed?
House isn't super kid friendly but you can bring them. Unattended children, however, will be given beer and a fish, likely by Angie.

Please provide a short description of your experience in the hobby and any tanks currently running.
I've been in the hobby for 5 years. I'm kind of a stick head as my 210g is dominated by them. I'm also a gear junkie.
    We have aquariums...

Wife's Fluval M90 zoa boxfish tank. No build thread.

10g desk tank that is my baby frag tank for now.

Took down the 50g frag tank for a redesign.

Providing alcohol to unattended children is too tame.

We don't want to put unattended children to sleep.

We feed them massive quantities of sugar and caffeine- then give them a puppy before finding thier parents and sending them on thier way ; )

We are going to have some fish food packs for the first XX people that show up (have to figure out how many I can make up but at least 5 or 6), so come early and hungry. I ate leftovers for 4 days after my last meeting. There will also be a small free raffle that we will do at the end of the member introductions.

@jlanger you and your hockey weekends. You need to get your priorities straight: aquariums > family

(Un)fortunately, this will be our last hockey season.
Last year, I attended your meeting immediately after we were at a game in Grantsburg, WI. This year, we’re in Wisconsin Rapids for a tournament the whole weekend.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm from Crapids

If you want a decent beer selection especially for a smaller town, stop by Hollyrocks. A buddy of mine is the owner.

Did you say member introductions or initiations at the end?

bump, just a reminder if you'd like to attend the fish food making workshop but are not a member/ supporter yet, you still have time to become a member.
You can simply attend cheezybuda 's meeting on February 10th or pay to be a suppoter, then you can sign up for work shop.

What is the club etiquette around bringing my own frag clippers? Is that frowned upon? Is that a paddling offense?

Will there be keg handstands happening or are we just drinking out of cans?

Funny that you mention that....I do have a homebrew on tap. I don't know, however, how many folks will want to be doing keg stands with a Stout.
