Finally got around to rescaping my 75 gallon today. First time ever scaping with rock that already has corals in it and I didn't have a lot of rock left to work with.
Not sure how I'm feeling about the final out come yet, but needed to raise some rock work higher as some corals were not happy.

I like the pillar and shelf idea. Is that rock you opened up somehow?

Did you use any epoxy or glue to build up the rock structure? What parts of the new aqua-scape are you not in love with?

On a side note, what is is your maintenance routine to keep the tank looking this great? I meant to ask during the last meeting but got distracted by all the different tanks to look at. :)

    Thanks mak.

I used some fiberglass rods, and lots of epoxy.
Just not sure with the scape, didn't really play with the design as most of the rock had corals I couldn't remove.

Lol my maintenance for the tanks are I have reminders scheduled in my cell calendar to remind me. Monday's I change filter socks, clean skimmer and ats while I am feeding the tanks. Have the calendar notify me a week before I'm scheduled to do a water change so I can make sure the water is mixed and ready (ie bug nick ;) )
Then do water changes every month.
I also look my tanks over every day to see how the coral are doing and moving them around until they're happy.
