    Do you see how they do their lights in those pics? I was thinking of that style if/when I did a big open top tank.

    Yeah Edwards tank is sick... He has two spot lights, one 20k and one 6.5k which points at his stag 'island'.

    They used halide spotlights, shallow tanks, and little live rock. Oh and lots of fish especially angels.

    Very cool - I'm thinking a future tank will be 8x2x16" rimless open top with live rock islands and spot light lighting.

    Now I just need to learn Japanese so I can see how those guys do it and get colors like that.

    Super low nutrients... good stock.... good light.... I just went back to the RC thread about Japanese tanks.... I'm thinking 6'x4'x20"...

    i just ordered $200 from their website and got free shipping... i ordered the whole acan tank for $150 and a dwarf boylei angel for $50.... ;)
