I'll second the Finnex heaters...although I have to say I only buy the titanium heating element only and control it using my ReefKeeper or Apex

Finnex is fine as long as you run them like RJReefer does. The thermostat on all three that I have owned are terrible. Set it for 77 and I get 70 if I am lucky.

I'm using these same ones too, one for my tank, and the other for my water changes, and I've returned two so far in the last 6 months due to getting shocked when my little finger hits the water. Not a huge shock, but enough to know it was the heaters who were behind the leaking electricity.

Maybe I'll change over to a Jager.

I use the Titanium Finnex, 300 watt. Control it with an RKL. I like the rubber ends and being able to put it right on the bottom of my sump.

I have a Jager from fragtastic and it is working well in my BC29! I also have a aqueon in my 75 FW doing well too! The only really nice other heater I want to try is the new one from Cobalt Aquatics!

YIKES! Next time, yank it out via the power cord hanging out of the water!

lol I still have my stealth heaters in action... many years old,

I was debating on sending them in for replacement, but if they lasted this long why gamble with a new one?
