Help identify a this star

    I found this guy on a frag from the swap and have him quarantined.

    I think it is a serpent sea star (brittle star) that is banded with grey/black. The body is round and black.

    Is this safe for my mixed reef?

    Not sure if I really want this creature. If interested in trading please PM me.

    Looks like a micro brittle starfish. Great part of your cleanup crew. Reef safe.

    Yep that looks like the type that gets up to almost 3 in and a really cool addition to have in a tank.
