    Hey reefers,

How do I resize photos that I took on my iPad, so the files are small enough to upload to my profile album?

Use the free resize app. It is called image size. You can also send it to your own email and choose the size you want to send then from your email just save the picture.

Jpg and jpeg are the same. All computers should be able to use both as the same image file. The old operating systems limited file extensions to 3 bits, thus the .jpg but the newer 32 and 64 bit systems can use the .jpeg.

I use an app called simple resize. Very simple to use. I would like to add that it is my hope that eventually the powers that be (hint hint BOD and the like) will find a way for the forum to accommodate larger picture file sizes. This is such a visually oriented hobby that it is a shame not to be able to share better photos. Sure, you can post a link to photobucket or something similar, but that is a pain in the buttocks. ;)
