Chad, you're going to have to expedite this if you're going to have any available for a raffle for Jonty's meeting. :greenguy:

Seriously, keep up the great work!

I love the fact that these are silver. Makes total sense (like the silver and transparent bodies of the young yellow tangs), but it had not occurred to me that they would be.

Angels are getting there. This larger one could start settlement fairly soon even. Fingers crossed!

    Congrats. Good luck.

I googled for it, gave up. I am not good at reefer research. What would you use as the definition of 'settlement'.

This is incredible. I think we should get these photo's and put them on a screen at the expo for everyone to see. I also think we should add a plug for the go fund me site to help with the research.

This photo by Karen Brittan shows it the best. Settlement is the stage when a larvae becomes a juvenile. This change can be marked by coloration or behavior changes.

So still 100% copepod feeding or getting large enough to switch to something else ? If so, what ?

Same age I think. One is just a few days further developed than the other. Still feeding 100% copepods. Even after settlement, may take a few days to get them onto frozen.

I wonder if the fish ever gets used to your big hands and camera. Lots of pic of this little bugger.
