These are called "Walking Dendros" Color scheme is green/tan color...They roam around your tank like snails but slower...They do not require feeding like dendros.

I was eyeing these for quite sometime now, but I think the price will get better. I've been told it would be around $150-$200 for ea. and after seeing some pics I was chuckling a bit.

    Liveaquaria has'em for $100 ea.
    WWC has'em for $150 ea.

I'm possibly thinking about getting a few to see how they do, but still the high $$$ for them is making me think twice. I'd rather get a rhizo.

I was looking at getting one but concerned about them moving around and how much light they need, my non photo nano just has a little led light over it and is only 5 gallons, I'm still debating though, might just move my balanos up onto the rocks and then it would be ok. Could just kill off the worm inside so it's not an issue but then they wouldn't be nearly as interesting IMO.

right now, I think its a fad/hype. I'd wait about 3 months to see how they are in a captive system and reviews from other forums.

with them being semi aggresive what kind of damage can it do to some of the other corals in the tank?

There you go Ray. Only thing you need to do is change the name to "rare designer snail" and you will make a fortune :)

Wonder if they would encrust a normal worm or nudi? If they took bristleworms it would make fragging easy
