Love this one, but not a great idea to try shortly after dropping in some reef chili.

Wow it truly amazes me how stocked you can get with those little pico types. Looks great! I think you could cram more coral in myself :gay1:

updates. Tank is doing well. No real news. Have some bubble algae starting to grow a little. Its annoying. Been looking at rare zoas and fuge ideas. Also thinking of looking into a fish or crab, but don't want the added waste in the tank. Also put the nano pump on a timer. 10 min on 15 min off. I think the corals like the off time they have really seamed to get allot bigger since i've done this.

Where did you hear about alternating your power head? I am interesting in giving it a shot.

I have a apex Jr. Talks about it in the manual. Worked good. But now I upgraded to a 33l and use maxi jets. They don't like the power surges.

I have a timer with 15 minute on/off cycles. Could I hook up my Koralia nano to it or is it only safe with a dedicated controller?

I dont see why not. Give it a try and see if it works. Depending on the flow pump your using. If the pump sound bad when it first star up then may have to get s diffrent pump. I was using koraline and seemed fine.
