As backup to my angelfish project, I have the clownfish still. Last weekend I collected a small number of clownfish larvae to raise up. These came from my snowflake pair, so a mix of normal ocellaris and orange snowflakes will result. These pics are from day 5 or 6. This photo is the most important. It shows the tip of the spine curving up in the tail. This stage is called Flexion, and is what I keep looking for in the angelfish. It marks a significant developmental bottleneck that can be challenging to get past in difficult larvae.
