i have had water flowing in a new 80 gallon rimless build for 3-4 weeks. I absolutely love the rimless. I never really appreciated the freedom of not having the rim and the brace going across.

I imagine it is a similar feeling of freedom that people get that don’t wear underwear or a bra. It is so liberating.

If you have an opportunity to go rimless, do it. Our remotes and phones used to have cords. Our cars used to take gas. Our kids used to go play in the yard. Our world is changing fellow hobbiests, grab the bull by the horns and go rimless.

People don’t wear underwear? I have always appreciated the safety barrier it provides...

Agreed. Rimless is a nice look!

I love the rimless look, I don't love the extra maintenance headaches it gives. Scraping near the top of the water line always splashed out water down the front of the glass. Plus, my rose scale wrasse would always splash water in my face when he was mad. Now, with the euro bracing, I stay dry faced.

I prefer eurobraced over rimless, but both are gorgeous. I agree that rimless gets a little messy when cleaning.
