1:30 am I walk into my fish room to find one of my 125's leaking all over the floor. Tank I bought used a couple months ago, it had an ugly reseal job but held water for him great and me to until tonight.

But now emptied, gravel in buckets, 8 7-10" fish living in a 32 gain garbage can and floor drying. Nothing like making expo day a little longer. Hope all your evenings went better. I am thankful it was a freshwater tank, no salt mess to have to add to the cleanup

Gotta look at the bright side, this one didn't start a fire like my last tank that leaked a few years ago(the only tank in my house at the time that was a temp tank and not on a gfi cause it was coming down the next day).

Fish in my 150 gallon stock tank, floor as dry as I can get it tonight, fans blowing to help dry it. Glad I keep some of this extra stuff around.

Sorry to hear this Nick, will you be able to reseal, or have to get new tank? Good luck

That sounds like the key phase with what happened. I'm sure you had a need for the tank or would have passed otherwise. Sorry this happened to you - it was probably the last thing you wanted to come home to last night.

You want an Oceanic 135? It's 72x18x24 high with 1/2 glass. I can't speak for it otherwise, so please do a freshwater test before using. You can just have it if you want. No charge. Not sure what you have going on, but you can even pick it up today if you want. -- That's if you even want the thing.

I think the fish slamming into the glass in a panic helped pop the bad reseal( it was so hard and loud I jumped, that was about 2 hours before I found it leaking). It came from a guy that I have known for years and we've always had good transactions.

Thanks for the offer Riley, but I'll just pick up a new tank probably today. Bad timing right after swap takes all of one's spending money but they're not overly expensive

Sounds good. A new tank is probably better anyway.

Glad you found it when you did and not at 8 a.m. or something.
