I've been without a tank for roughly 4 years due to a change in housing. Now that we are settled in a new place the time was right for a new setup. My last tank was a standard 75G which I enjoyed. I knew that I would want something wider for the new setup. I decided on a SC Aquariums 100G which is 48" x 24" x 20". I am very pleased with the quality of the SC tank. My only complaint is that I cannot get my arm into the overflow due to the eurobracing. The plans for the tank are to be SPS dominant with a few LPS. This will be my first time with LED lighting. Here are equipment details: - Tank: SC Aquariums 100G - Stand: A repainted DIY stand I made years ago. Nothing fancy but gets the job done. - Sand: Tropic Eden Mesoflakes - Rock: BRS Pukani - Lights: (2) Radion XR30W G4 Pro's - Controller: Apex & Reeflink - Flow: (2) MP40W QD's - Sump: Bashea Bio-Fuge - Skimmer: Bubble King 180 Mini - Return: Varios 6 - ATO: Tunze (will switch to Neptune ATK when back in stock) - Dosing: Neptune DOS - Reactors: TBD I started this tank with Bio-Spira to help with the cycle. I have never used this product before. They say you can add fish right away but I waited a week to make sure the parameters where in check. I added two banggai's cardinals over the weekend. I will head to SWE this weekend to get a couple more fish. Here are a few pictures to get it started. I really need to get the wiring organized. The ATO tank next to the stand will be relocated to the closet next to the setup. I also wish I would have refined the stand a bit more and used colored PVC for the plumbing that way I would leave the doors off the stand.
